And, detailed that project has been put out to bid at a cost of 3,2 million bolivianos. Therefore, the awarding process has already begun.<\/p><p>&#8220;It\u2019s about 4.3 miles of bikeway in three modalities with international standards. The project requests an approximate cost of 3,2 million bolivianos and the awarding process is already underway through a company\u201d, said Torrez.<\/p><p>Besides, complies with one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/multisenal.com.mx\/blog\/para-que-sirve-una-ciclovia-beneficios\/\">main purposes of a bikeway<\/a>, this new route will develop the inter-modal connection of transport. Thanks to that, this bike path will connect with Mi Telef\u00e9rico Company and La Paz BUS service.<\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"696\" height=\"464\" src=\"https:\/\/ciclopistas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/image-18.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10249\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ciclopistas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/image-18.png 696w, https:\/\/ciclopistas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/image-18-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/ciclopistas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/image-18-600x400.png 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px\" \/><\/figure><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-mexican-consulting-for-bike-paths-in-la-paz\"><strong>Mexican consulting for bike paths in La Paz<\/strong><\/h2><p>In order to support the construction of bike paths in La Paz, 3 Mexican experts have traveled to Bolivia to advise these projects, located on South zone of capital.<\/p><p>They are Daniel Ruvalcaba, Alejandro Gardu\u00f1o &amp; Alonso Cruz, young architects with many contributions, giving advice to build future cyclist infrastructure.<\/p><p>One of its first areas of support will be <a href=\"https:\/\/multisenal.com.mx\/blog\/guia-rapida-convivencia-vial-ciclistas\/\">safety measures for cyclists and pedestrians<\/a>. This refers to the correct implementation of signals in specific zones where converge cyclists and pedestrians.<\/p><p>In this way, the aim is ensure a correct and safe road co-existence among bike path users at La Paz. Likewise, this measure will help to prevent accidents at intersections with any transit type.<\/p><p>For that, advisors anticipate that in south zone where these will be build, they will implement diverse <a href=\"https:\/\/ciclopistas.com\/productos-ciclovias\/\">cyclist devices<\/a>, &amp; structural changes in sidewalks.<\/p><p>\u201cIt\u2019s a project that contemplates the renovation of traffic islands, that help us to moderate speed in the public space that not only contemplates cycling population, but also pedestrian mobility through proper signaling of crosswalks, design of safe intersections through curb extensions to shorten crosswalks and controls for an appropriate, fluid and safe speed,&#8221; explained Alejandro Gardu\u00f1o, consultant with over 8 years of experience in the area. <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Citizens, and cyclists will have new bikeways on La Paz, on the south zone of the city.
